Students come together weekly for a wonderful, engaging, and social class where the THRIVE Classroom Guide will offer lessons with story time, hands-on activities, crafts, and more. Students will have access to sensory bins, free play, and will participate in Show & Tell days.

Preschool 4-Kindergarten
Students will explore classical literature pieces where we will take a new book each week and dive into all of the elements found inside the literature from Geography, History, LA, Science, Art, and more. Students will engage in educational discussions as well as hands-on crafts and activities that help them explore the meaningful elements of each story. Mixed into each session students will also enjoy lessons on Botany and Awesome Science Experiments.

Add-On Elective Classes
As we prepare our children for the future and grow critical thinkers, our older students will take a step toward learning essential Life Skills, Business, Career Readiness, and participate in Socratic Discussions. Our THRIVE Classroom Guides will lead the students each week in building critical thinking skills, learning executive functioning, personal finance, communication skills, responsible citizenship, and so much more. Additionally throughout the year we prepare students for our annual Children’s Business Fair.

THRIVE offers a variety of Add-On Elective Enrichment Classes for families to customize the best program possible for their student(s). Try one or multiple elective classes each session! The choice is yours when it comes to building a homeschool program for your student(s) to truly THRIVE! From Robotics and Art, to Book Club and more, add-On classes run for a specified 8 weeks during each session.

Each session, Fun Friday events will be posted. Fun Fridays consist of educational field trips, group outings, social events, winter athletic days, and more. These are a great addition to any homeschool week. Fun Fridays provide additional time for kids to be kids, grow friendships, socialize, and maybe learn something too!

At THRIVE it's all about community! Each session THRIVE hosts a class party for the students that include a Halloween Costume Party, Valentine's Day Party, and an End of Year Celebration Party! Plus each week students enjoy FREE Social Time from 11:30am-12:30pm where they can eat lunch together, play games, socialize, and even have epic Chess battles! It's a blast!

Our Fun Workshop Classes are part of the Thrive Enrichment Program and are truly unique. Workshops are geared toward bringing in new, different, and creative educational lessons or workshops each week that help stimulate laughter, excitement, and a love for learning. There is something for everyone! From canvas painting and sewing to science and engineering, these classes help create a space where learning feels fun!
Examples of Fun Workshop Classes have included: The Frog Lady with Live Animals, Socratic Discussion, the Fire Department, First Aid + CPR, Botany & Hydroponics, Soap Making, Canvas Painting, Ninja Science, Business & Entrepreneurship, Team Building, Music Sing-Along, Comedy Magic, Sewing, IL Storm Chasers, The Life Cycle of the Chicken with Live Baby Chicks, and so many more. Educational workshops change every year so that students are always exposed to something new!
Fun Workshop Classes will have students of multiple ages grouped together to encourage social togetherness and help build friendships. Preschool 4 & Kindergarten through Grade 2 will enjoy the Fun Workshop Class together while Grades 3-8 will enjoy their Fun Workshop Class together. Fun Workshops are designed to have more of a “one room schoolhouse” feel, with multiple ages learning together. This blended model allows for a multiage learning environment where students can not only learn from the teacher, but also from one another.

In addition, THRIVE organizes at least three fundraisers each year (Fall, Winter, and Spring) to help supplement program funding. We appreciate any and all parent support with our fundraising events.
